The housing market has proven its resiliency despite the pandemic. Both the for-sale and for-rent markets are performing well. Home price growth hit over 18% in June, according to the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller home price index, a level not seen in more than three decades. Single-family rentals and multifamily properties are also seeing rents returning to pre-pandemic levels. These numbers are largely due to pent-up demand meeting limited available supply.
